Ricarda Geilenkirchen joined the KCG as a secretary in October, 2016. After graduating from the high school, she has been trained as a wholesale and export trader. Since 2014 she has worked in the office of the Chair Monetary Economics and International Finance headed by Prof. Thomas Lux at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel (CAU Kiel). Her knowledge of administration processes at the CAU Kiel is important for the KCG in which cooperation between the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the CAU Kiel is expected to be intensified.

In the KCG Ricarda Geilenkirchen provides administrative support to the whole KCG team. Her main duties include – in addition to general administrative assistance – dealing with budget-related administrative issues, uploading KCG papers and news to the KCG homepage, and supporting the organisation of KCG events etc. She works particularly intensively with KCG Managing Director Prof. Holger Görg and KCG Coordinator Dr. Wan-Hsin Liu.
